LSST-01 Three-side Sealing Packaging Seal Strength Tester

Testing the integrity helps ensure that the sample provides required product protection.

Application

Testing the integrity helps ensure that the sample provides required product protection. Sustainable packaging alternatives, lower cost packaging, and variations in production line sealing parameters are frequently assessed with seal integrity tests. Maintaining the reliability of package seals is critical for product quality and safety.

Test Method

Pressure decay is one of the most widely used methods of leak testing. It measures the drop of drop of pressure on interior of sample. The sample is pressurized first to a target level and then cut the air source. The pressure then is detected and the drop of pressure indicates a leak. There are three ways of analyzing sample performance, the burst, creep and creep to failure test.

Technical Features
  • PLC controlled unit (industrial level stable) and HMI touch screen operated.
  • The tester is able to realize three test modes of burst, creep and creep to failure.
  • Test result auto statistics and storage.
  • Sensitivity and threshold personalized setting.
  • Restraining plates can be equipped.
  • Program customization available.
  • Standard pressure up to 600KPa (87 psi) and can be modified to user requirement
  • Compatible with other form of fixtures to facilitate tests to package form like open package (three-side-seal), closed package, doy pack, tube, sealed tray and cup, etc.
