FDT-01 Greenhouse Plastic Film Drop Dart Tester

Used to measure he resistance performance of plastic films, sheets, and composite films, foils, paper, with less than 1mm thickness.

Background

Greenhouse plastic film has good thermal insulation properties, which can prevent heat loss inside the greenhouse and provide stable temperature conditions to promote the growth of plants in cold seasons or low-temperature areas, and it is able to effectively prevent the impact of wind, rain and other adverse weather conditions in the external environment on the inside of the greenhouse. It is made of materials that are highly resistant to wind and water, protecting plants from the natural environment. Therefore, greenhouse plastic film needs to be able to withstand strong winds, especially in adverse weather conditions, with a high impact resistance of the membrane material can slow down the force of the impact of external objects, thereby reducing the risk of the membrane being perforated or damaged.

Falling dart impact test is a traditional way to determine the energy that causes a greenhouse plastic film to fail under specified conditions of impact of a free-falling dart.

Application

FDT-01 Falling Dart Impact Tester is used to measure he resistance performance of greenhouse plastic film with less than 1mm thickness. This test indicates greenhouse plastic film ability to resist external force.

Technical Features

FDT-01 Falling Dart Impact Tester is a PLC controlled unit (industrial level stable) and HMI touch screen operated. Every part of the dart assembly and releasing mechanism are made strictly to standard.

By the embedded test program, user just needs to perform test and increase or reduce the weights according to the set parameters. Then after a number of Fail/Non-Fail tests, the system automatically gives impact result, which is without being manually calculated again.

  1. PLC control and touch screen operation
  2. Two tests methods of A and B (B optional)
  3. Test results of both gram and Joule display
  4. Electromagnetic suspension and automatic falling
  5. Sample pneumatic clamping
  6. Observation light for checking sample status when clamping
  7. Manual and foot switch equipped for safe and easy operation
  8. Dot matrix type micro-printer for data export
  9. Professional software (optional)
